This article analyzes the economic advantages of artificial intelligence technologies, specifically intelligent chat-bots, in customer service within the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in Uzbekistan under the conditions of the digital economy. The main purpose of the study is to quantitatively assess the financial profitability of introducing artificial intelligence bots while abandoning traditional communication services based on human labor. The relevance of the topic is that the difference between the fixed and variable costs of traditional call centers and digital communication programs is crucial in ensuring financial savings in enterprises. Economic-mathematical modeling, comparative analysis, and observation methods were used within the research methodology. The main results show that the transition to the digital method reduces the enterprise’s service-related costs by almost 85 percent, and 70 percent of customers prefer algorithmic communication. The scientific novelty of the proposed approach is that the direct economic efficiency of artificial intelligence at the micro level (cost of serving one customer) is expressed in numbers. Its practical significance is manifested in the development of specific conclusions and recommendations for the integration of smart technologies into the service sector.
